Marlborough Tree Services
Form Pruning
Simply put, a good form prune can improve the health of your tree, make it safer and increase its aesthetics.
The aim of form pruning is to assist a tree in creating a healthy, safe and visually desirable structure. This involves the pruning out of dead, dying or diseased branches as well as the removal of crossing or rubbing limbs. Epicormic growth is also removed if it is not playing a significant role in the future health of a tree.
Tree Removals
Rowe Tree Care has the skill, equipment and experience to undertake complex tree removals safely and efficiently. This involves either felling or dismantling trees in often confined spaces while avoiding damage or disruption to anything nearby.
Chipping and Clean-up
At Rowe Tree Care we pride ourselves on leaving our work sites tidy, with brushwood chipping (and tipping of mulch if you wish to keep it) which is an integral part of our service.
If you only want us to chip brush, then the following tips will allow us to do so efficiently.
Many smaller piles of branches stacked with all of the cut ends together are easiest to manage, even if the distance to the chipper is greater.
Unless you are familiar with and have been ‘inducted’ to our machine we will likely be quicker (and safer) without, rather than with your help.
If piles have been pushed together using machinery, the brushwood will most probably be too tightly packed for us to deal with by hand. Larger machinery may be needed to dismantle and chip it.
Power Line Clearance
We can undertake limited work around power lines. Using specific tools we are able to prune near service lines (between the pole and your house) and in the ‘any tree worker’ zone.
Tree Bracing
This is a process that provides a support system to a damaged or vulnerable branch/limb. It involves the use of either dynamic or static cable braces, steel rods or propping up of limbs that are close to the ground. Rowe Tree Care can advise on, and install these techniques.
