Our Team
-
Wills Rowe - Lead Arborist
Lead arborist at Rowe Tree Care, Wills holds a Certificate in Advanced Arboriculture. He completed his arboriculture apprenticeship with David James Tree Services in 2010. Wills has an eye for detail and is particular about aesthetic and tree health. He most enjoys technical climbing work. Wills personally attends quotes and enjoys building ongoing connections with the Marlborough community.
-
Tim Lovejoy - Lead Arborist
Tim has been caring for trees in Marlborough for 30 years, 5 years in Nelson and for 5 years in the UK before that so if nothing else he brings experience to the team!
As a ‘lifelong learner’ his experience is allied to a nerdy interest in research in all aspects of tree care, from the incredible biology of trees to the physics and technology of climbing and lowering systems to stress wave sonic tomography decay detection in trees.
He is more than happy to bore people to distraction with arboreal streams of consciousness!
Mostly though he has a passion for the natural world and particularly its incorporation into our increasingly stressful and busy urban lives. Your garden is an important element in this.

Jake Brydon - Groundworker
Jake is a recent school leaver who joined our team with hopes of learning the ropes of tree care. He currently takes the role of groundworker but can also be seen trimming hedges and pruning small amenity trees.
Family owned & operated
At the heart of our business is family. Ours is made up of husband and wife team, Indigo & Wills Rowe with their young daughter, Ada. We are long-time Blenheim locals and love regularly seeing familiar faces within our community.

The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see Nature all ridicule and deformity, and some scarce see Nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, Nature is Imagination itself.” - William Blake, 1799, The Letters
